the first annual La Petit Fancy Flea...
was a complete success!! Here are some photos of set up that morning....
Paula Davis had the most mind blowing "stuff". Her booth was fantastic....
I saw this little renovated baby buggy cart she transformed go rolling out at the end of the day!
Here's Connie Neal putting all her pretties in place. The white chair on the left was to DIE for!
Here are Pat & Lee with Leebirds...how they crammed so much stuff into their trailer is beyond me. It was amazing to watch them unload!
Here's Nick...one of our wonderful porters. We wouldn't know what to do without these strong young men to help with load in and out.
Elise Rogers with Elise's Place. Infectious energy...that's all I can say. Her booth was beautiful and right in the front as you came in the door....the perfect vendor to greet our patrons!
Suzette Dore and her sweet husband who unloaded more furniture than you can imagine...and they almost ran out of it!! Fabulous couple and I think she is just beautiful!
Kimberly Ryan of Paris Rags seeting up her beautfuil booth....she has the cutest little dressing room!
And here we have the Manly Man doing what he likes to do to best during set up...eat doughnuts & drink coffee, and our oldest grandson Marcus...such a beautiful young man...inside AND out.
Here's Janice with Vintage Vibe and her lovely daughter. Janice bought this awesome chandie from Connie Neal of Shabby for Sure. See that little round thing at Janice's elbow? It's an old electic stove coil that Connie made into the cutest little "conversation piece."
Paula was not happy with me....she still had on her workin' clothes when I took this photo.
Sweet Magnolias provided the delicious catering for the day. The chicken salad sandwiches were divine and the scones were out of this world! You must visit her tea house in Auburndale for the full effect!
Terrie Ireland with Chic to Antique had a gorgeous double booth...I don't know how she does it!
Heather Kildis with Mediterranea Designs has this exquisite trunk in her booth. Heather just started doing shows but she sets up a booth like a seasoned pro.
Tara Waddles and her Origami Owl team took about 5 minutes to set up this pose...after putting down their drinks, fixing their hair and getting into position!
Shelley Underwood with Shelley's Yard Art setting up her beautiful totems and garden decor.
Denise Crawford & Denebi Designs makes such gorgeous silver jewelry out of silverware....you should see what she can do with a fork!!
Kari Carothers & her son of Doubet Farms had a problem with their truck & trailer, but still managed to bring enough stuff to fill their booth and then some...I can't imagine what else they could have fit in their space!
Here's Rebecca Borders & friend of We Have An Old House (don't we all Rebecca?)
The gals of Sweet Magnolias again...Tabitha the owner is on the left...the cutey pie on the right...I can't remember her name! Here are some random shots of the show.....
This lovely chest is still for sale...imagine that!
This settee was one of the first items out the door that morning....
Hootie owls in Paula's booth...naturally!
Black Swan Bazaar had the cutest little "love letter" chest...of course it was snapped right up! You must visit their shop in downtown Lakeland and their new warehouse right down the street. Great stuff to be found!
Miss Evelynn said she's sorry she couldn't make it to the show...she didn't have a ride...but next time she's going to arrive in style in the new Fancy Fleamobile that her Granny just bought.....
Pretty cute huh? Can't you just see this at the Plant City show? WIth pink pom pom fringe around the top? Kari Carothers has first dibs on a spin around the place. Thank you to everyone who made the La Petit show a success...vendors & patrons. Tomorrow I'll post the winners of the prizes we gave away at the show. Take care everyone!
